ROIO
This page is of all of my ROIO's that I own so far!!! Some are tapes, some are CD's, but all are pretty darn cool!!!
PINK FLOYD
Psychedelic Night I
Track list:
Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast, The Embryo, Fat Old Sun, Careful With That Axe, Eugene.
Recorded at: Sheffield, England.
Date: December 22, 1970.
Band members: David Gilmour (Vocals, guitars), Nick Mason (Percussion), Richard Wright (Keyboards), Roger Waters (Bass guitar, vocals).
Quality:
The voices are a little drowned out by everything else, but such a great track list, how can you not like it?!? It also. has a rare live performance of Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast. Great version!
Running Time: 64:47
Speak To Me
Track list:
Speak To Me, Breathe, On the Run, Time, The Great Gig in the Sky, Money, Us and Them, Any Colour You Like, Brain Damage, Eclipse, One of These Days, Careful with that Axe, Eugene.
Recorded at: Nakajima Sports Centre, Hokkaido, Japan.
Date: February 13, 1972.
Band members: David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Richard Wright, Roger Waters.
Quality:
Very good. One of the better ROIO's out there of the Dark Side of the Moon LP. The only problem is that the first song on the CD is the entire Dark Side of the Moon album. But other than that, it is a great collection of songs as well as a great performance by the band.
Running Time: 70:16
Any Colour You Like
Track list:
Speak To Me/Breathe, On the Run, Time, Breathe (reprises), The Great Gig in the Sky, Money, Us and Them, Any Colour You Like, Brain Damage, Eclipse, Echoes, One of These Days.
Recorded at: Palais des Sports, Poitiers, France.
Date: November 29, 1972.
Band members: David Gilmour (Vocals, guitars, VCS 3), Nick Mason (Percussion, tape effects), Richard Wright (Keyboards, vocals, VCS 3), Roger Waters (Bass, guitar, vocals, VCS 3, tape effects).
Quality:
Okay, but not great. The quality of the recording isn't wonderful and neither is the bands performance (please don't strike me down for that). But if you are getting it for the guitar, and a BIG fan of Roger Waters on the bass, you are picking the right one. The voices are a little drowned out by the bass and everything else. But it does have a great set list!
Running Time: 68:58
Boston Gardens, 18/6-1975
Track list:
Disc One: Raving and Drooling, You've Got to be Crazy, Shine on you Crazy Diamond, Have a Cigar, Shine on you Crazy Diamond, Speak To Me, Breathe, On the Run.

Recorded at: Boston.
Date: June 18, 1975.
Band members: David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Richard Wright, Roger Waters.
Quality:
Pretty good, but there are many parts which just cut out. While the quality is pretty good, the editing is very ugly and quite poor.

Pink Floyd-The Film Unreleased Versions from the movie "The Wall"
Track list:
The Little Boy that Santa Claus Forgot, In the Flesh?, The Thin Ice, Another Brick in the Wall (part 1), When the Tigers Broke Free, Goodbye Blue Sky, The Happiest Days of our Lives, Another Brick in the Wall (part 2), Mother, Empty Spaces, Yung Lust, One of my Turns, Don't Leave Me Now, Another Brick in the Wall (part 3), Goodbye Cruel World, Is there Anybody Out There?, Nobody Home, Vera, Bring the Boys Back Home, Comfortably Numb, In the Flesh, Run Like Hell, (the following are only on certain copies of this CD) Waiting for the Worms, The Trial, Outside the Wall.
Band members: David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Richard Wright, Roger Waters.
Quality:
Incredible. This is exactly from the movie and it is GREAT! But there is a problem. Supposidly there are two versions of this CD. Both have the exact same cover. But only one of the versions has the entire track listing. The version that I have only has the first 22 tracks (stopping right after Run Like Hell). But it is still one of the greatest CD's I own!!!!

DAVE MATTHEWS BAND
Tripping Billies

Recorded at: ???
Date: ???
Band members: Dave Matthews (vocal, guitar), LeRoi Moore (reeds), Carter Beauford (drums), Stefan Lessard (bass), Boyd Tinsley (violin).
Quality:
Great! I love this CD! Great quality, great track list, the only thing that I didn't like about this was that it cost a good fortune (for a college student that is). Highly recomended (that is if you can still find it somewhere that hasn't been raided!)
Note: The track listing isn't spelled wrong (Anta Marching and Granny). This is what it looks like on the back of the CD.
Running Time: 72:16
Let's Give This Evening Up For Jerry Garcia
Track list:
Disc One: One Sweet Road, Unknown, As Proud as Monkeys, Second Billings, The Best of What's Around, Tribute to Jerry Garcia, Once in a lifetime/Dancing Nancies, Walkin By Water, Unknown, Rhyme & Reason.
Disc Two: Jimi Thing, Grammy, Celebrate, Ants Marching, I'll Back You Up, Drive In, Drive Out
Bonus Tracks: Ants Marching (SNL 4/8/95), Ants Marching (David Letterman 7/12/95), Ants Marching (Tonight 8/14/95).

Date: August 9, 1995.
Band members: Dave Matthews (vocal, guitar), LeRoi Moore (reeds), Carter Beauford (drums), Stefan Lessard (bass), Boyd Tinsley (violin).
Quality:
Great. I haven't heard a DMB ROIO that I haven't liked! But once again, just like the CD above, some of the tracks are unknown to me (the two that are marked Unknown and Grammy - is it Grammy? or Granny?). And Second Billings is what it says on the back cover.

OASIS
British Lads in Boston
Track list:
Rock and Roll Star, Columbia, Fade Away, Diggy's Diner, Shaker Maker, Live Forever, Up In The Sky, Bring It On Down, Slide Away, It's Good To Be Free, Cigs Alcohol, Married My Children, Supersonic, I Am The Walrus (Beatles).

Band members: Liam Gallagher (Vocals), Noel Gallagher (Lead Guitar, Vocals, Mellotron, Piano & E Bow), Paul Arthurs (Rythm Guitar, Mellotron & Piano), Paul McGuigan (Bass), Alan White (Drums & Percussion).
Quality:
This is a great Oasis Roio; especially because it was taped in my hometown!!! But other than the fact that Boston is great, it is a wonderful Roio. The lads play incredibly well, not to mention the great track list. A definite go-getter.
Running Time: 66:07
Note: Just like in DMB, the track listing on the CD is what appears here. I am not the one who has made any sort of mistake.
The Acoustic Sessions
Track list:
Cast No Shadow, Wonderwall, Talk Tonite, Supersonic, Digsy's Dinner, Don't Look Back In Anger, Live Forever, Wonderwall, You Got To Hide Your Love Away (Beatles), Whatever, Married With Children, Shaker Maker, Sad Song, Slide Away, Do You Wanna Be A Spaceman.
Recorded at: a mix of locations.
Date: a mix of dates.
Band members: Liam Gallagher (Vocals), Noel Gallagher (Lead Guitar, Vocals, Mellotron, Piano & E Bow), Paul Arthurs (Rythm Guitar, Mellotron & Piano), Paul McGuigan (Bass), Alan White (Drums & Percussion), Paul Weller.
Quality:
This is probably my favorite of the Oasis Roio's. It has incredible sound and the brother's Gallagher play extremely well! Noel really shines on this CD especially because it's mostly him singing and playing except for a few songs. The first version of Wonderwall is incredible when the audience begins to sing. You feel that you are there in the audience (well, not really, but close enough).
Running Time: 56:01
What's The Story
Track list:
Take Me Away, I Will Believe, Columbia, D'yer Wanna Be A Spaceman?, Alive (8 track demo), Bring It On Down, Rock N' Roll Star - Columbia, Up In The Sky, Cloud Burst, Super sonic, I Am the Walrus (Beatles), Listen Up.
Recorded at: a mix of locations.
Date: a mix of dates.
Band members: Liam Gallagher (Vocals), Noel Gallagher (Lead Guitar, Vocals, Mellotron, Piano & E Bow), Paul Arthurs (Rythm Guitar, Mellotron & Piano), Paul McGuigan (Bass), Alan White (Drums & Percussion).
Quality:
This is an incredible CD. Take Me Away has got to be one of the best songs out there in the music industry. I have never heard it before this CD. That song alone is worth getting this CD. But other than that song, the CD is great and definitly worth buying.... Oh, did I mention that you should buy it?
